Spring Bulb Basket Planter

$95.00

Sunday, March 29th, 11am - 1pm at Thairapy Beauty Bar 3 Kent St W, Lindsay ON.

Create a spring bulb planter just in time for Easter — a hands-on workshop where participants assemble a lined basket filled with ready-to-bloom bulbs, seasonal accents, and decorative fresh moss. This class will cover care tips and how to keep your bulbs blooming for years to come.

Students will leave with a finished, display-ready spring bulb planter that brings early color to a mantle, table, or entryway.

What you’ll make

  • A rectangular 12 inch plastic-lined basket (shown in photo) planted with mixed spring bulbs (tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, or muscari).

  • Natural finishing touches: decorative moss, pine cones, or ribbon accents for an Easter-ready display.

Workshop features

  • Step-by-step instruction on layering soil, bulb placement, and spacing.

  • Guidance on choosing bulb varieties for staggered flowering and color balance.

  • Demonstration of drainage solutions, watering routines, and light/temperature needs to extend bloom life.

  • Tips for forcing bulbs indoors or planting outdoors after bloom, plus basic troubleshooting (pests, mold, or poor growth).

Who should attend

  • Beginners and experienced gardeners looking for a quick seasonal project or a ready-made centerpiece for Easter.

What’s included

  • Pre-chilled spring bulbs selected for reliable spring blooming.

  • Plastic-lined wicker basket, potting mix, and planting materials.

  • Decorative accents (moss, ribbon, small Easter ornaments).
