Whether your’re planning a staff social or a reunion with friends, a flower arranging class is a relaxing, engaging activity to celebrate your group!

I am available to travel for private groups in Kawartha Lakes and Durham Region. All fees are included in the price.

If you plan to host a group of friends or coworkers, please consider the following:

  • I will need room for at least one, 6 ft folding table to hold product and supplies. I can bring this!

  • An 8 ft standard table will fit four people comfortably working. The host will need to provide clear tables/surfaces to work on.

  • I require a minimum of six people and typically a maximum of twenty.

  • Please allow three hours for the event (one hour beforehand to set up and two hours for the activity)

Build a beautiful, low-maintenance succulent garden in this hands-on workshop. I will guide students through handling succulents, choosing soil and drainage materials, and arranging plants for lasting health and visual appeal! You’ll learn basic care tips—lighting, watering, and seasonal needs—plus how to spot and treat common issues like overwatering and pests.

Leave with a finished succulent planter and the knowledge to keep it thriving!

Basket may vary from image, but round baskets will be used as our planter. The particular plants will vary, but a similar selection should be expected. Each planter will have three, large succulents (same size as shown). We will decorate the top with moss and stones (as shown).

What to expect:

  • All materials provided: container, soil mix, drainage layer, a selection of succulents, and decorative top dressing

  • Step-by-step instruction on potting techniques and plant placement

  • Care guide to take home with watering schedule and troubleshooting tips

  • Time for creative styling and personalized design finishing

Cue the holiday tunes and hot apple cider! Join me for a festive wreath class where I will walk students through the basics of wreath making while using fresh, seasonal, and local materials to create their very own masterpiece!

We will start with a handmade 12” grapevine wreath and learn how to adorn it with fresh and dried seasonal elements such as Canadian grown silver fir, white pine, cedar, pinecones, rose hips, dried oranges, and more! Each wreath will be finished with a season-appropriate ribbon that will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own if you have a specific colour palette to incorporate!

All materials are provided. If you have a pair of great garden shears, please bring those along. If not, a pair will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE: the materials we use will be based on what is available locally and will vary from the photos shown. We will use a mix of fresh greens and dried adornments. The size of the wreath will be appropriate for a standard front door.

No experience necessary!

Impress your holiday guests with a festive centrepiece by making a seasonal arrangement that will last for weeks of cheer! By using seasonal, long-lasting stems and no fresh flowers, these table pieces should last for up to 4 weeks by making sure they have fresh water every few days. Stems will be arranged in a neutral coloured ceramic pot.

We will use a selection of Canadian grown douglas fir, white pine, cedar, illex berries, pinecones and rosehips, seeded eucalyptus, bay laurel and decorative sticks.

All materials are provided. No experience necessary!
