Soy Candle Workshop Whitby

$85.00

Sunday, June 14 at Rousseau’s Whitby 11am - 1pm

Candle making is a bit more than just melting and pouring wax. To make a great candle that burns properly, has a good scent throw, and looks pretty, there are some important thechniques to consider! Learn how to make your own beautiful soy wax candles by understanding the importance of temperature, timing, measurement and quality ingredients.

It’s going to be a candle buffet! Each student will make and take home TWO soy candles by choosing a combination of the following:

  1. The Container - a choice of glass, ceramic and tin vessels (6-12 oz)

  2. The Scent - a choice of woody, floral, fruity and citrus

  3. The Toppings - a choice of dried botanticals or bare

Please note, we will be working with very hot wax! This class is not suitable for children (even though I loved having them for wreaths)!
